Role Description The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire sales process for pre-owned vehicles, from lead generation to closing deals and post-sale follow-up. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves managing a sales team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include meeting prospective customers, understanding their needs and budget, recommending suitable vehicles, negotiating pricing and financing options, and coordinating with operations, refurbishment, and documentation teams. The Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, contribute to sales strategies, maintain accurate sales records, and support promotional activities to drive showroom footfall and revenue growth.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with proven experience in managing end-to-end customer interactions.
- Experience in team leadership, including setting goals, coaching sales staff, and monitoring performance.
- Customer relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust and deliver a high-quality buying experience.
- Knowledge of automotive or pre-owned car markets, including basic understanding of vehicle features, pricing, and valuation.
- Familiarity with financing, warranty, and documentation processes in the automotive sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills, with comfort using CRM tools and basic office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, including weekends and peak business hours as required.
