Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Manager role is based in the Pune Division. The Sales Manager will oversee day-to-day sales operations, including generating new business leads, managing existing client accounts, and achieving revenue targets. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans, conducting client meetings and presentations, negotiating pricing and contracts, and tracking sales performance metrics. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to coordinate service delivery, resolving client issues promptly, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The Sales Manager will be expected to train and guide sales representatives, maintain accurate sales reports, and provide regular updates to leadership on market trends and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, business development, or key account management, preferably in industrial, logistics, or related sectors.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, client relationship building, and closing deals.
- Ability to develop and implement sales strategies, set targets, and analyze sales data to drive performance.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience supervising or mentoring a sales team, including performance tracking and coaching.
- Comfort using CRM tools, basic office software, and reporting systems to manage accounts and monitor results.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also considered.
- Knowledge of the Pune and Maharashtra market, including local business practices and customer expectations, is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel within the region for client visits and business meetings as required.
