Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote machinery products, ensuring the company meets or exceeds its sales objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities in key industries such as manufacturing, construction, and agriculture by researching market trends and customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing corporate clients to understand their machinery needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Lead, train, and mentor the sales team, setting clear sales goals, providing performance feedback, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Conduct technical product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to prospective clients, explaining the benefits, features, and ROI of machinery products.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring that deals align with company objectives and profitability targets.
- Collaborate with the product development, marketing, and after-sales teams to ensure the company delivers solutions that meet customer specifications and expectations.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
- Provide ongoing support to client’s post-sale, addressing any concerns related to product performance, maintenance, and upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
- Proven experience (4 years +) as a Machinery Sales Manager, Industrial Sales Manager, or similar role, with a focus on B2B sales of machinery and industrial equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of machinery products, including technical specifications, applications, and industry standards.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing a sales team and driving performance.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations and product demonstrations.
- Proficient in CRM software, sales tools, and MS Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand customer needs and offer innovative solutions.
- Willingness to travel to client sites and industry events as required
