Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Sales Manager will lead business development efforts, identify and qualify new opportunities, and build strong relationships with clients across sectors such as mining, infrastructure, and urban development. Responsibilities include managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to proposal development, negotiation, and closing, in close collaboration with technical and project teams. The role involves preparing and delivering client presentations, responding to RFPs, tracking sales pipeline metrics, and providing regular revenue and forecast reports to leadership. The Sales Manager will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to refine sales strategies and contribute to Horizon Ventures’ growth objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within environmental services, engineering, consulting, or related technical sectors.
- Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and closing complex deals.
- Ability to develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and sales materials tailored to client needs.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams (engineers, environmental specialists, project managers) to shape solutions and pricing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with a client-centric approach.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple opportunities and deadlines.
- Comfort using CRM tools and productivity software to track activities, analyze data, and report on sales performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is an advantage.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, or infrastructure development domains is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and travel to client locations as required.
