Role Objective
The Sales Manager / Revenue Lead will be responsible for driving end-to-end sales and achieving consistent revenue growth for the organization. This is a closure-focused role, requiring strong ownership of the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound and inbound sales channels, including LinkedIn, email outreach, freelance platforms, and referrals.
- Conduct client discovery calls, presentations, and product/service demonstrations to understand client requirements.
- Manage and execute the complete sales cycle: Lead generation → Requirement analysis → Proposal → Negotiation → Deal closure.
- Independently close deals without dependency on founders or senior leadership.
- Maintain an organized and accurate sales pipeline within CRM systems.
- Collaborate with technical, product, and delivery teams to ensure accurate project scoping, timelines, and pricing.
- Develop and nurture long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and account growth.
- Identify opportunities to expand revenue through upselling and cross-selling services.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in IT services, SaaS, or digital transformation solutions.
- Proven ability to close high-value deals ranging from ₹5L to ₹50L+ per project.
- Demonstrated sales performance with ₹20L+ revenue closed within the last 12–24 months.
- Experience working with international clients, particularly in the US and European markets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and objection-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
- Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and accountable for revenue outcomes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Generate 1–2 qualified leads per day.
- Conduct at least 1 client meeting or sales call per day.
- Achieve monthly revenue target of ₹25L+.
- Maintain a healthy Lead-to-Deal conversion rate.
- Ensure accurate and consistent CRM updates and pipeline management.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience selling AI, SaaS, Web Development, or Digital Transformation services.
- Familiarity with Upwork, Clutch, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and global B2B prospecting tools.
- Strong understanding of solution-based selling and consultative sales approaches.
- Experience working with distributed or global teams.
