Position Summary
The Sales Manager – Direct Sales will be responsible for driving business growth by directly identifying, engaging, and closing high-value turnkey Solar EPC projects within the C&I segment. This role requires a strong mix of corporate business development, technical comprehension, and premium client management.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Client Acquisition: Map, target, and pitch turnkey solar solutions to industrial clients, commercial establishments, and corporate entities.
- Pipeline Management: End-to-end management of the sales cycle, from lead generation and initial assessment to technical proposal defense and closure.
- Techno-Commercial Negotiations: Work closely with the engineering design team to understand site feasibility, present optimized technical solutions, and manage commercial negotiations and contract signings.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on state/central solar policies, net-metering regulations, open access trends, and competitor offerings across Gujarat and target regions.
- Key Account Management: Maintain robust, long-term relationships with institutional clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical) or MBA in Marketing/Sales.
- Experience: 3 to 6 years of core B2B/C&I sales experience in the Solar EPC industry.
- Technical Skills: Sound understanding of Rooftop and Ground-Mounted solar systems, net-metering norms, and financial models (Capex/Opex).
- Soft Skills: Dynamic presentation skills, assertive negotiation capabilities, and excellent verbal/written communication.
Remuneration & Logistics
- Location: Ahmedabad (Corporate Office) with regional travel as required.
- Compensation: Competitive Fixed CTC + Performance-driven incentives.
