Role Description
Purpose of the Role
The role is responsible for driving Agency Channel sales by managing and developing the agent network, including agent recruitment, planning, training, and achievement of sales targets through effective team management and execution of product-wise sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Develop and implement strategic business and sales plans to achieve company objectives
- Enter new markets and support marketing initiatives
- Review agent performance and enable agents to improve sales effectiveness
- Agent Recruitment
- Recruit and onboard agents for GCI
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents to ensure productivity
- Training of Agents
- Conduct periodic training programs on GCI products and processes
- Ensure compliant and effective selling practices
- MIS & Team Management
- Maintain accurate MIS related to sales, pricing, proposals, and expenses
- Manage a team of agents, ensure regular training, and drive achievement of sales targets
Required Competencies
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
