Community (EAC), such as Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Ethiopia. This professional is
responsible for adapting global brand strategies to suit the unique cultural and economic
landscapes of these regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Market Expansion: Develop and execute international sales and marketing plans
specifically tailored for the East African region.
• Distribution Management: Build, manage, and grow relationships with international
distributors, dealers, and trade partners across the region.
• Lead Generation & Sales: Identify new business opportunities, manage sales pipelines in
CRM systems, and personally negotiate and close high-value deals.
• Brand Awareness: Increase brand presence and consumer awareness through coordinated
marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and regional trade fairs/exhibitions.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct regular market research to analyze local consumer behavior,
competitor activities, and regional trends to inform business decisions.
• Regional Compliance: Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with local laws,
international trade regulations, and customs requirements in various East African countries.
• Logistics & Reporting: Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and
prepare detailed performance reports for senior management.
• Secondary sales : As we have base in EAST Africa we need to have gentleman who can help
dealer in secondary sales in Mining, Ports and corporate farming.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is
standard. Senior roles often require a Master’s degree (MBA).
• Experience: Typically requires 8–10 years of experience in sales and marketing, with a
proven track record in international or export sales within Africa.
• Cultural Intelligence: Deep understanding of the East African business environment and the
ability to navigate diverse cultural nuances.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is essential
• Travel: A willingness to travel extensively (often up to 50% of the time) within the region to
visit clients and partners.
• Technical Proficiency: Microsoft Office, and data analytics tools.
