Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Mumbai. The Sales Manager will lead and grow sales for instrumentation fittings, valves, and flow-control components across key sectors such as rail transportation, oil & gas, biogas, and process industries. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term customer relationships. The role involves preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals, coordinating with internal engineering and production teams to address project requirements, and ensuring on-time order closure and delivery. The Sales Manager will track sales performance, maintain accurate forecasts and reports, participate in industry events, and contribute to continuous improvement in customer service and market positioning.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong B2B sales, account management, and business development skills, ideally within industrial or engineering products.
- Candidates should possess skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and contract finalization with corporate and institutional clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in market analysis, opportunity identification, and sales planning to drive revenue and profitability.
- Candidates should possess skills in technical understanding of fittings, valves, or related mechanical components, with the ability to interpret specifications and standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, presentation, and documentation for proposals, reports, and stakeholder updates.
- Candidates should have experience collaborating with internal teams (engineering, production, logistics) to meet project timelines and customer requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related field) or Business/Management are preferred.
