Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Karur. The Sales Manager will lead day-to-day sales operations, including managing the sales pipeline, meeting with clients and channel partners, and presenting EDIO’s hardware solutions to prospective customers. The role involves setting and tracking sales targets, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating commercial terms. The Sales Manager will collaborate with product and technical teams to understand product capabilities, translate them into customer benefits, and provide feedback from the field. Responsibilities also include building and mentoring a sales team, organizing product demos and trainings, maintaining CRM records, and preparing regular sales performance reports for leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in sales planning, pipeline management, and closing B2B deals in hardware, technology, or related industries.
- Experience in client relationship management, account development, and partner or distributor coordination.
- Ability to conduct product presentations, technical demos, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, including use of CRM tools and basic sales forecasting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product and operations teams.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Prior experience in repair-tech, electronics, hardware devices, or service-focused technology is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in Karur and visiting customer locations as needed.
