We are looking for a Media Sales Executive who can drive revenue through strategic media sales while understanding the evolving landscape of digital infrastructure.
Role Overview
The Media Sales Executive will be responsible for selling Compute Forecast’s digital media offerings to global clients across technology and infrastructure sectors.
This role requires a strong mix of:
B2B sales capability
Industry understanding
Client relationship management
Content-led selling approach
The ideal candidate should be comfortable selling value-driven media solutions and building long-term partnerships with clients
Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Media Sales & Revenue Generation
Sell digital media services including:
Advert banner placements
Sponsored content & content marketing
Newsletter sponsorships
Podcasts & branded audio content
Executive interviews & thought leadership features
Identify client marketing goals and align them with relevant media offerings
Create customized media proposals based on client requirements
Drive revenue through new business acquisition and repeat partnerships
2️⃣ Client Prospecting & Lead Generation
Identify and approach potential clients across:
Data center operators
Cloud providers & neo-cloud companies
AI infrastructure firms
Energy & sustainability companies
Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline
Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and professional networks
Convert prospects into long-term clients
3️⃣ Client Relationship & Account Management
Manage client relationships post-sale
Ensure smooth execution of campaigns
Act as a single point of contact for client communication
Identify opportunities for upselling and renewals
Maintain high client satisfaction and retention
4️⃣ Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work closely with:
Editorial team (for sponsored content & interviews)
Marketing team (for campaign execution)
Design team (for creatives and ad placements)
Communicate client requirements clearly to internal teams
Ensure timely delivery of campaigns and content
5️⃣ Content-Led Selling Approach
Understand upcoming editorial features and industry themes
Align client campaigns with relevant editorial opportunities
Pitch thought leadership and content marketing strategies to clients
Position Compute Forecast as a strategic media partner
6️⃣ Market & Industry Awareness
Stay updated on trends in:
Data centers
AI infrastructure
Neo clouds
Liquid & immersion cooling
Sustainability & energy systems
Use industry insights to strengthen sales conversations
Performance Expectations:
Consistent deal closures and revenue contribution
Strong pipeline development and management
High client retention and repeat business
Effective collaboration with editorial and marketing teams
Ability to meet sales targets and timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in media sales or digital advertising sales
Proven experience selling:
Advertisements
Content marketing solutions
Newsletter sponsorships
Podcasts / interviews / branded content
Strong understanding of B2B sales processes
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Mandatory Industry Knowledge
