Role Overview
The Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding CCT’s presence, with a strong focus on pharmaceutical, life sciences, and cold chain logistics customers.
The role involves developing new business, managing key accounts, and working closely with internal teams to deliver customized cold chain solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive profitable revenue growth in the assigned territory
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech companies, CROs, logistics providers, and freight forwarders.
- Promote CCT’s portfolio of thermal packaging, reusable solutions, and digital cold chain technologies.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and margin objectives.
Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Manage enterprise and regional accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures in line with company guidelines.
Market Development
- Strengthen CCT’s footprint in pharma clusters such as Ahmedabad, Baroda, Ankleshwar, Vapi, and nearby industrial hubs.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer need to identify growth opportunities.
- Support expansion into emerging pharma and life sciences zones within the region.
Customer Collaboration & Solutions
- Work closely with operations, customer success, and technical teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Understand customer cold chain challenges and propose compliant, cost-effective, and innovative solutions.
- Support implementation of digital monitoring solutions for improved cold chain visibility and performance.
Internal Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with marketing on local campaigns, customer events, and brand-building initiatives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to leadership.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in pharma logistics, cold chain, supply chain, or packaging solutions.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chains, temperature-controlled logistics, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to build relationships, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience working with pharma manufacturers, logistics service providers, and freight forwarders.
- Familiarity with cold chain packaging solutions and digital monitoring technologies.
- Strong market knowledge of Cold Chain Industry
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a results-driven and customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as per the business needs.
