Position
Sales Manager – Karnataka
Location: Karnataka (Bengaluru)
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer
Role Summary
The Sales Manager – Karnataka will be responsible for driving institutional partnerships, revenue generation, business expansion, and sales growth across Karnataka for Skillphul Business Toys’ training and employability programs. The role involves engaging with engineering colleges, MBA/BBA institutions, universities, training partners, and corporates to promote and implement industry-focused skilling programs.
The candidate will lead the Karnataka business operations with a strong focus on admissions, institutional tie-ups, business development, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive revenue growth by selling training programs and certification courses to educational institutions across Karnataka.
- Identify and onboard engineering colleges, MBA colleges, universities, and educational groups for institutional partnerships.
- Promote long-term, short-term, credit-based, and industry certification programs.
- Generate business opportunities through direct meetings, presentations, networking, and referrals.
- Develop state-wide business expansion strategies and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Build strategic relationships with principals, placement officers, HODs, management teams, and training & placement departments.
Institutional Partnership Management
- Manage end-to-end institutional engagement from lead generation to onboarding and execution.
- Coordinate with internal academic, operations, and training teams for smooth program delivery.
- Ensure long-term relationship management with partner institutions.
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and awareness sessions on emerging technologies and employability trends.

Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in Business Development, EdTech Sales, Institutional Sales, or Skill Development projects.
- Strong network with engineering colleges, universities, and higher education institutions in Karnataka.
- Experience in B2B/B2G sales and institutional partnerships is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage targets, partnerships, and regional business growth.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Karnataka.

- Experience working with EdTech companies, skilling organizations, universities, or training providers.
- Exposure to government skilling projects, employability programs, or technology training initiatives.
- Understanding of emerging technology domains and employability trends.
