Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Odisha, India, for a Sales Manager – Agency Channel (General Insurance) at Gethired Digital. The Sales Manager will oversee and drive agency channel sales for general insurance products, achieve sales targets, and nurture and expand agency networks. The position will involve recruiting, training, and managing agents while actively engaging with clients to maintain long-term relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. The role also includes planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with internal teams to devise effective campaigns and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications
- Sales and Leadership Skills: Strong expertise in sales, target achievement, team leadership, and client relationship management.
- Industry-Specific Knowledge: Prior experience in general insurance, with a deep understanding of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
- Training and Mentorship: Ability to recruit, train, and motivate agents to drive sales performance and improve productivity.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Skills in planning, performance monitoring, and devising effective sales and market penetration strategies.
- Communication and Relationship Management: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools, reporting systems, and basic digital marketing strategies is a plus.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; experience in sales management roles is highly desirable.
- Localization: Familiarity with the regional market in Odisha and fluency in relevant local languages is an advantage.
Compensation: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience) + attractive performance incentives + additional benefits as per company policy.
