At MedOS, we are building India’s Medical OS to completely streamline front-office operations for clinics and hospitals. Our vision is to become the standard infrastructure for healthcare appointments, equipping practices with real-time booking widgets, session pack management, seamless OPD queue management, and deep WhatsApp integration. With our conversational AI agent, Veda, handling appointment bookings, we are rapidly modernizing how patients and doctors connect. We are looking for a highly driven Sales Leader to spearhead our growth and bring our SaaS platform to the top healthcare providers in the country.
The Role
As the Sales Leader, you will own the end-to-end sales cycle for MedOS, focusing exclusively on acquiring clinics and hospitals within India's Tier 1 cities. You will leverage your deep understanding of the Indian healthcare landscape and previous experience selling EMR (Electronic Medical Record) or health-tech solutions to articulate our value proposition. Because this is an equity-only role, you will be operating essentially as a co-founder on the commercial side—driving early revenue, building the initial sales playbook, and establishing MedOS as the go-to front-office operating system for premium healthcare practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Targeted Outreach & Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and close deals with clinics and mid-sized hospitals strictly within Indian Tier 1 cities (e.g., Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune).
- Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle from initial cold outreach and product demonstration to contract negotiation and closing.
- Strategic Positioning: Leverage your knowledge of existing EMR workflows to position Medos as a complementary or superior solution for front-office operations, appointment booking, and patient communication.
- Sales Playbook Development: Build and refine scalable sales processes, objection-handling scripts, and pitch materials tailored to Indian doctors and clinic administrators.
- Product Feedback Loop: Act as the bridge between the market and our product team, providing direct feedback on clinic needs to help shape the development of our booking widget, queue management systems, and our AI agent, Veda.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
- Industry Expertise: Mandatory previous experience working in an EMR-based organization or deeply selling SaaS into the Indian healthcare sector.
- Market Knowledge: Intimate understanding of how Indian clinics operate, the pain points of front-desk management, and the nuances of selling technology to doctors and hospital administrators.
- Geographic Focus: Strong existing network and understanding of the healthcare landscape specifically in Tier 1 Indian cities.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Comfortable working in a highly autonomous, early-stage environment. You are a self-starter who is financially positioned and motivated to take on an equity-only role to build a zero-to-one product.
