We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Sales Lead to join our growing defense and aerospace business. This role requires someone who understands the unique dynamics of the aerospace & defense ecosystem and can build strong market positioning, industry relationships, and demand generation strategies.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience marketing products, solutions, or services within the aerospace, defense, homeland security, aviation, or related sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end sales strategies for defense and aerospace offerings
- Build brand positioning across government, defense, aerospace, and enterprise stakeholders
- Drive B2B sales initiatives including industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and partnerships
- Work closely with leadership, sales, and product teams to create go-to-sales strategies
- Manage digital marketing, content marketing, PR, and strategic communications
- Create high-quality marketing collateral including presentations, case studies, brochures, and campaign assets
- Develop relationships with industry bodies, defense ecosystem partners, and strategic stakeholders
- Track market trends, competitor activity, procurement landscapes, and emerging defense technologies
- Lead external communications and represent the company at relevant industry events
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or related industries
- Strong understanding of defense procurement cycles and industry landscape
- Experience handling B2B sales and strategic positioning
- Proven ability to execute sales campaigns and industry engagement initiatives
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and branding skills
- Experience working with leadership teams in fast-paced environments
- Prior experience with defense exhibitions, aerospace events, or government-facing communication is highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with aerospace OEMs, defense contractors, UAV/drone companies, aviation firms, or defense-tech startups
- Exposure to international defense markets is a plus
- Familiarity with LinkedIn marketing, strategic content, and thought leadership initiatives
