Duration: 3–6 Months (Extendable Based on Performance)
Role ObjectiveThe Sales Intern – Vizag will support the City Sales Manager in executing on-ground sales activities, market research, lead generation, customer acquisition, and relationship management across Vizag city.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in FMCG, food sales, business development, and market expansion while gaining hands-on exposure to field sales and customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Market Research- Identify and collect data of potential customers across Vizag.
- Build databases of:
- Restaurants
- Cafes
- Hotels
- Resorts
- Cloud Kitchens
- Caterers
- Grocery Stores
- Supermarkets
- Society Stores
- Wellness Centers
- Gyms
- Conduct market mapping and identify new business opportunities.
2. Field Sales Support- Accompany the City Sales Manager and Sales Executives during market visits.
- Assist in customer meetings and product presentations.
- Support in lead qualification and follow-up activities.
- Help schedule meetings with prospective customers.
3. Customer Engagement- Introduce potential customers to the benefits of microgreens.
- Explain product usage, freshness, quality, and subscription models.
- Collect customer feedback and market insights.
- Maintain professional communication with prospects and customers.
4. Sales & CRM Support- Update customer information, leads, and visit records.
- Maintain sales databases and reporting sheets.
- Assist in updating CRM, Google Forms, and sales software.
- Track inquiry-to-conversion progress.
5. Distributor & Retail Support- Assist in retailer onboarding activities.
- Support distributor relationship-building initiatives.
- Help conduct retail audits and merchandising checks.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor products and pricing.
6. Marketing & Activation Support- Support local promotional activities and brand activations.
- Assist in conducting customer interviews and collecting testimonials.
- Coordinate with content teams for social media content creation.
- Help generate Google reviews and customer feedback videos.
7. Reporting- Maintain daily activity reports.
- Submit market visit updates to the City Sales Manager.
- Track leads generated, meetings conducted, and conversions supported.
