Role Overview
We are looking for a Sales Intern who can help us convert inbound and outbound interest into meaningful conversations and enrollments.
This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, confident in communication, interested in education or technology sales, and eager to learn how modern sales works in a fast-moving AI-focused business.
You will work closely with the founder and team to support lead qualification, follow-ups, sales conversations, and conversion workflows across phone, WhatsApp, email, and social channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Reach out to leads generated through social media, events, campaigns, and referrals
- Qualify potential learners based on interest, background, goals, and fit
- Conduct follow-ups through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other relevant channels
- Explain TMLC Academy programs clearly and professionally
- Schedule counseling calls for highly interested prospects
- Maintain lead data, conversation notes, and follow-up status in spreadsheets or CRM
- Track responses, conversion progress, and common objections from prospects
- Support enrollment follow-ups and payment coordination when needed
- Assist in improving sales scripts, outreach messages, and conversion processes
- Share market feedback and learner insights with the team

Required Skills
- Good spoken and written English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in phone-based and chat-based follow-ups
- Basic understanding of sales, lead handling, or customer interaction
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and maintain follow-up discipline
- Comfort using Google Sheets, Docs, email, and messaging tools
Preferred
- Previous internship or experience in sales, business development, telecalling, or admissions counseling
- Familiarity with WhatsApp-based sales or edtech lead conversion
- Interest in AI, software, technology, or career-focused education
- Ability to speak Hindi, Marathi, or other regional languages is a plus
