About the Role:
The role of a sales analyst (Intern) is a critical role for any consulting organisation from the point of view of Business Development. As a sales representative, candidates will be expected to learn the value proposition that Dexian offers to its primary customer base. Post that the candidates will be expected to join hands for business development effort at Dexian. This could include reaching out to potential customers, understanding their business requirements, creating a roadmap of intervention, final pitch, and order closure.
For someone who wants to build a career in Sales, the role provides immense learning opportunities to create a network across industry segments. As a customer representative of Dexian, this role will help the candidates to create a network of potential clients across industries and geographies. This role can be a very enriching experience that can trigger immense growth opportunities both professionally and personally, which can potentially be upgraded to a full-time role at Dexian, on completion of the course.
Designation: Sales Intern (Summer Internship)
Reporting to: Business Account Manager
Location: Mumbai
Compensation: 8,000/- per month + Travel Allowance.
Duration of Internship: 2 months
Roles and Responsibility:
1. Understand the customer face and value proposition of Dexian consulting.
2. Reaching out to potential clients by visiting the areas in and around Mumbai.
3. Doing the online research & understanding the business problems of the potential customers.
4. Visiting exhibitions and trade shows.
5. Final pitch presentation and order closure.
Required educational qualification & skills of the ideal candidate:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (at least 60%) is preferred.
2. Pursuing an MBA in Sales/Marketing stream (with no history of backlogs)
3. Good leadership exposure of having led a team at school or college level will be an added advantage (in academics, sports or administration).
4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Required experience / technical qualification of the ideal candidate:
1. Candidates who are in their first year of full time MBA course, who will be passing out in the year 2027 are eligible for this role
2. Hands on experience in managing data in Excel is a must
3. Proficiency in using Office Tools like Word & PowerPoint
Behavioural requirement of the ideal candidate:
1. Willingness to travel to client location
2. Willingness to work in fast paced start-up culture
3. Being a team player is a must
4. Extrovert male/female candidates with a pleasant personality and excellent negotiation skill set
