Established in 1975, Chetan Pumps is a trusted legacy brand pioneering high-performance engineering solutions for agricultural, domestic, and commercial markets. As we scale our high-horsepower (7.5 HP to 20 HP) industrial and lift-irrigation pump segments across high-potential Indian states, we are transition-building our sales framework into a process-driven powerhouse. We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Intern to own our B2B Market Database and Outbound Sales Infrastructure.
Role Overview:
You won’t just be doing casual calling; you will be the Data Architect for our expansion engine. Your core focus will be to scrape, verify, structure, and nurture a complete PAN-India database of dealers, distributors, industrial buyers, and electrical contractors engaged in the pump industry, while managing automated email outreach cycles.
Target Applicants: Open to candidates PAN-India who have great research skills and access to a laptop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Mining & Scaping: Research, extract, and assemble structured contact profiles of pump traders, agricultural dealers, and industrial suppliers across target states using platforms like IndiaMART, LinkedIn, Justdial, and trade associations.
- Google Sheets System Management: Maintain and clean our Master Sales Lead Tracker daily. Ensure zero data duplication, proper categorization, and flawless formatting.
- Cold Email Campaigns: Write, set up, and execute targeted email sequences introducing Chetan Pumps' technical portfolios and value propositions to prospective partners.
- Disciplined Follow-up Tracking: Own the communication timeline. Track open rates, replies, and execute a multi-touch follow-up system (Follow-up 1, 2, and 3) to convert raw cold data into warm inbound leads.
- Daily Performance Sync: Provide daily data health matrices to the Systems Head by the End of Day (EOD).
Who Can Apply?
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or Engineering.
- Advanced Google Sheets / Excel Skills: You must know how to utilize Data Validation, Dropdowns, Conditional Formatting, and basic cleaning formulas (TRIM, PROPER, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent Written Communication: Professional command over business English to draft crisp, punchy corporate emails that business owners will actually open and read.
- Process Discipline: High attention to detail. If a lead doesn't have an address or verified GST/mobile number, you are uncomfortable leaving it incomplete.
