Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Intern role based in Raipur. The Sales Intern will support daily sales activities, including responding to inquiries, sharing travel package information, and assisting in converting leads into bookings. The role involves coordinating with the operations team to understand itineraries, maintaining customer records, and preparing basic sales reports. The intern will engage with customers in person, over phone, and via digital channels to provide courteous and informed service. The Sales Intern will also assist with follow-ups, promotional activities, and participation in training sessions to build product and destination knowledge.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and Hindi, with an ability to explain travel products effectively.
- Customer Service skills, with a focus on listening, empathy, and problem-solving to support travelers before and after booking.
- Interest or foundational skills in Sales, including lead follow-up, basic negotiation, and a willingness to work toward targets.
- Openness to Training and mentoring, with the ability to learn quickly about destinations, itineraries, and travel products.
- Basic understanding or interest in Sales Management concepts, such as pipeline tracking and reporting, is an advantage.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Travel & Tourism, Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Comfort with MS Office or Google Workspace and basic CRM or spreadsheet use for maintaining records.
- Positive, professional attitude with readiness to work on-site in Raipur and collaborate with a small, dynamic team.
