Role Overview
The Sales Head will be responsible for driving profitable business growth through effective sales planning, market development, customer relationship management, and sales execution. The role involves close coordination with production, logistics, and management teams to ensure timely deliveries, customer satisfaction, and achievement of revenue and margin targets.
The candidate will play a key role in strengthening the company’s dealer network, acquiring new customers, improving collections, and enhancing overall sales productivity.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, dealers, distributors, and project clients
- Drive market expansion and increase brand presence in North India / Delhi NCR
- Build long-term relationships with key customers and channel partners
Customer & Dealer Management
- Manage B2B clients, dealers, distributors, and institutional customers
- Handle customer negotiations, pricing discussions, and commercial closures
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Resolve customer complaints and service-related issues effectively
Sales Operations & Coordination
- Review daily sales orders, enquiries, and pipeline status
- Coordinate with production and logistics teams for dispatch planning and order fulfillment
- Monitor sales forecasting, pipeline conversion, and target achievement
- Ensure smooth communication between sales and operations teams
Pricing, Profitability & Collections
- Monitor margins, discounts, and profitability across products and customers
- Ensure disciplined pricing and commercial practices
- Track outstanding payments and improve collection efficiency
- Maintain healthy receivable cycles and reduce overdue payments
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and monitor the sales team
- Set targets, review performance, and drive productivity improvements
- Conduct regular sales meetings, reviews, and market planning sessions
- Support team members in negotiations and client handling
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
- Revenue growth and profitability
- New customer and dealer acquisition
- Collection efficiency and receivable management

Required Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management preferred
- 6–10 years of experience in Sales within Timber, Plywood, Laminates, Building Materials, Furniture Materials, or related manufacturing industries
- Strong exposure to B2B sales, dealer network management, and project sales
- Experience in handling North India / Delhi NCR market preferred
