Role Objective
The Sales Head will be a strategic partner in driving business excellence and market leadership. The role requires a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics, with responsibility for developing sales strategies, managing large teams, and delivering revenue growth in line with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and profitability in line with the Annual Business Plan (ABP).
- Build and lead a large, high-performing sales team, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance.
- Manage business P&L, revenue generation, and expansion across multiple regions.
- Establish and strengthen coverage, distribution, and display objectives to meet ambitious sales targets.
- Build robust sales and distribution infrastructure aligned with marketing plans.
- Deploy and manage commercial budgets efficiently to maximize ROI.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to shape expansion strategies.
- Drive marketing campaigns and evaluate execution effectiveness.
- Deliver weekly and monthly MIS reports to management.
Candidate Profile
- MBA with 12+ years of experience in the Alco-Bev industry (mandatory).
- Proven success in handling multiple regions (West, North, and ideally South) with exposure to both distributor and corporate models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and revenues in crores.
- Strong track record of brand development and successful new product launches.
- Commercial acumen with expertise in P&L, scheme management, cost cards, and sales processes.
- Hands-on leader with excellent coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
