We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Director to lead sales growth and market expansion for IoT solutions. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, building strong sales channels, managing distributors/retail counters, leading the sales team, and developing go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Lead and manage the sales team for consistent performance.
- Identify and onboard distributors, retail counters, and channel partners.
- Drive product visibility, availability, and in-store branding.
- Build relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline tracking, and performance reports.
- Lead high-value negotiations and strategic partnerships.
Required Criteria
- 10–15 years of relevant sales experience.
- Minimum 2+ years in team handling/leadership role.
- Experience in consumer electronics, IoT devices, consumer durables, telecom devices, appliances, or similar product-based industries preferred.
- Strong channel sales, distribution network, and market expansion experience.
- Good knowledge of Chennai/Pondicherry market.
- Comfortable with business travel.
