About Provo
Provo is the exclusive Vivre Panels distributor in Eastern India and operates a premium interior materials showroom at 10 East Topsia Road, Kolkata. Our ground floor houses one of the region’s most comprehensive collections of natural veneers, Evowood, laminates (decorative & industrial), louvers, metal panels, and decorative surface solutions. We serve architects, interior designers, contractors, and direct customers across West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, and the Northeast.
The Opportunity
This is not a conventional salaried position. We are looking for a Sales Head who operates as a “Partner in Profits” — someone who takes full ownership of the Surfaces & Decoratives vertical and earns a direct share of the profits they generate. You will have the autonomy to set strategy, build a team, drive pricing decisions, and grow the vertical as if it were your own business — backed by Provo’s established infrastructure, brand, and supplier network.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the complete P&L for the Surfaces & Decoratives vertical (veneers, laminates, Evowood, louvers, metal panels, decorative panels)
• Build and manage relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and project buyers across Kolkata and Eastern India
• Drive showroom walk-in conversions and outbound project sales
• Develop and execute sales strategies including pricing, promotions, and channel partnerships
• Build, train, and lead a small sales team (2–3 members initially)
• Coordinate with Vivre Panels and other suppliers on inventory, samples, and new product launches
• Track weekly and monthly sales performance, pipeline, and collections
• Represent Provo at trade exhibitions, architect meets, and industry events
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 5–10 years of sales experience in surface materials, laminates, veneers, plywood, or decorative products
• Established network of architects, interior designers, and contractors in Kolkata/Eastern India
• Prior experience with brands like Greenply, Century, Merino, Greenlam, Royale Touche, or similar is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of project-based B2B selling and dealer/influencer management
• Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable with a profit-sharing model over a high fixed salary
• Excellent communication in Bengali, Hindi, and English
• Willing to work from the Provo showroom at Topsia Road, Kolkata
Compensation Structure
• Fixed Monthly Base: ₹60,000 – ₹150,000 (negotiable based on experience)
• Profit Share: 10–15% of net margin generated from the vertical
• Quarterly performance review with transparent P&L visibility
• Potential for expanded profit share and equity discussion after Year 1
• No cap on earnings — your income grows as the vertical grows
