Minstay is an early-stage travel platform focused on helping travelers discover PGs, affordable homestays and local stays across Northeast India.
Our goal is to connect travelers with authentic local hospitality while helping homestay owners reach more guests and grow their visibility online.
We are building a simple and accessible platform that makes it easier for people to explore the beauty and culture of Northeast India while supporting local communities and small homestay businesses.
Role Description
As a Sales & Growth Intern at Minstay, you will play an important role in helping expand our network of homestays across Northeast India. You will interact directly with homestay owners, introduce them to the Minstay platform, and help onboard them to grow our community of stays.
This role offers hands-on exposure to how an early-stage startup builds partnerships, grows its marketplace, and connects with local businesses.
You will gain practical experience in communication, sales, networking, and market research while contributing to the growth of a travel platform focused on promoting affordable homestays in Northeast India.
The internship is ideal for students, freshers, or anyone interested in learning how startups operate and grow from the ground level.
Who can Apply
• Higher Secondary (HS / 12th pass) or Graduate in any field
• Students currently pursuing graduation are also welcome
• Freshers are encouraged to apply
• No specific degree required — motivation and communication skills are more important
Language Requirements
- Assamese – Required
- Hindi – Basic communication
- English – Advantage but not mandatory
Basic Skills
- Polite and clear communication
- Humble and respectful attitude
- Confidence to talk with homestay owners
- Basic smartphone knowledge (calls, WhatsApp, maps)
Key Responsibilities
• Connect with homestay owners and introduce them to the Minstay platform
• Help onboard new stays to the platform
• Build relationships with local stay providers
• Gather suggestions and feedback from homestay owners to help improve Minstay’s services
• Support the growth of Minstay’s homestay network
