Role OverviewThe incumbent will be responsible for business development, sales strategy, and revenue generation for Liquified CO₂ and Dry Ice across Southern India. The role requires strong industry connections in food processing, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cold chain logistics, welding/fabrication, and industrial gas sectors.
The candidate will operate from Head Office (Gurugram) with frequent travel across southern markets and coordination with the Rajahmundry manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Liquified CO₂ and Dry Ice in southern markets.
- Identify and acquire new customers in beverage carbonation, breweries, FMCG, pharma cold chain, meat processing, seafood export, and industrial fabrication sectors.
- Establish long-term rate contracts with bulk consumers and distributors.
- Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets in volume and revenue.
2. Market Expansion
- Appoint and manage channel partners / distributors in key states.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and supply chain movements.
- Identify opportunities in seasonal and export-driven demand (marine, poultry, ice cream, vaccine logistics, etc.).
3. Key Account Management
- Handle institutional and bulk buyers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and logistics arrangements.
- Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables cycle.
4. Plant Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate with Rajahmundry plant for production planning and dispatch schedules.
- Monitor tanker / insulated vehicle movement and optimize freight cost.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards in handling and transportation of CO₂ and Dry Ice.
5. Compliance & Technical Sales
- Provide technical guidance on CO₂ purity grades (Food Grade / Industrial Grade).
- Ensure compliance with PESO, FSSAI, and other regulatory standards wherever applicable.
- Support customers in audits and quality documentation.
Key Skills & Competencies- Strong exposure to Industrial Gas / CO₂ / Cryogenic products sales.
- Proven track record of handling bulk industrial B2B sales.
- Knowledge of southern India industrial clusters and logistics network.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Ability to travel extensively (50–60%).
- Sound understanding of supply chain and commercial structuring.
Educational Qualification- B.E./B.Tech (Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial) preferred
- MBA (Marketing) will be an added advantage
Experience Requirement- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Industrial Gas / CO₂ / Dry Ice / Cryogenic products sales.
- Experience in managing regional or zonal sales operations preferred.
