Job Description: Sales Executive
Location: Mumbai
We are seeking a candidate for expanding our sales and marketing activities for the Insulator business. The person will be involved in sales/ marketing, market expansion, dealing with new/ existing customers and business development activities. This position offers direct reporting and frequent interaction with the Directors of the company.
The main responsibilities would include:
1. Maintain very close interaction with key customers, liaison agents and government departments for developing order pipeline.
2. Assist with approvals for new products from State Electricity Boards and other competent authorities.
3. Coordinate and obtain type test certificates from independent testing facilities.
4. Assist with account management activities for key customers, including site visits and customer support activities.
5. After sales activities and handling site complaints.
6. Create awareness about BCPL brand, products and reputation with prospective customers
Expected Qualifications and Qualities:
1. Bachelors Degree holder from reputed educational institute with good academic performance
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Hindi
3. Strong motivation, accountability and task management skills
4. Computer proficiency for general office tasks and email/internet
5. MBA or other advanced degrees would be given due consideration
Expected Experience:
1. 3-5 years of sales/marketing experience in business-to-business sector in power equipments
2. Demonstrated ability of effectively executing sales and marketing activities and meeting company objectives
3. Previous experience in power distribution, transmission and electrification works preferred though not required.
