Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Target Achievement
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for assigned territories and product categories.
• Execute sales plans and ensure product availability in all designated outlets.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.
2. Distributor (WD) Coordination
• Work closely with distributors to ensure timely secondary billing and stock replenishment.
• Collect weekly sales and stock data from distributors and share accurate reports with the Sales Manager.
• Assist in the preparation of debit/credit notes and coordinate with finance for payment reconciliation.
3. Market Execution & Visibility
• Ensure in-store visibility as per company standards, including proper display and planogram implementation.
• Coordinate with marketing and trade teams for installation of visibility elements like wobblers, danglers, and shelf strips.
• Regularly audit stores to ensure product placement and visibility compliance.
4. Data Reporting & Analysis
• Update and maintain sales data on a daily basis through SFA (Sales Force Automation) system.
• Analyze primary and secondary sales data to identify issues and share field insights with the manager.
• Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of reports.
5. New Product Launch Support
• Support the launch of new products by ensuring placement and sampling execution in the market.
• Monitor initial offtake, track customer response, and provide feedback to the team.
6. Supply Chain Coordination
• Coordinate with distributors and supply chain teams to ensure product availability.
• Assist in resolving delivery or billing issues faced by distributors or customers.
7. Team Collaboration
• Work closely with the Sales Manager and marketing teams to achieve business objectives.
• Share market feedback, competitor updates, and suggestions for improvement.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic reporting)
• Basic understanding of SFA (Sales Force Automation) tools
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of FMCG sales operations – Modern Trade, Regional Modern Trade, and General Trade
• Ability to manage distributor relationships effectively
• Good analytical, reporting, and follow-up skills
• Result-oriented mindset and ability to work under pressure
Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in FMCG Sales
• Experience in Modern Trade or Regional Modern Trade preferred
• Basic knowledge of distributor management and sales reporting tools
