Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive: Bancassurance role based in Ahmedabad. The Sales Executive will manage and grow life insurance business through designated bank branches, working closely with bank staff to generate leads, explain Bajaj Life products, and provide need-based solutions to customers. Daily responsibilities include meeting branch-based customers, conducting product presentations, driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. The role also involves tracking pipeline and conversions, ensuring accurate documentation, coordinating policy issuance, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal guidelines. In addition, the Sales Executive will regularly report performance metrics, share market feedback, and support training or refresher sessions for bank teams to strengthen the partnership.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills in financial services, insurance, or banking, with a focus on target achievement and revenue growth.
- Strong relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and customer service skills to work effectively with bank staff and diverse customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain financial products clearly and handle objections confidently.
- Good analytical, numerical, and CRM/reporting skills to track leads, conversions, and branch performance data.
- Prior experience in life insurance or bancassurance is highly preferred; knowledge of local market dynamics in Ahmedabad is an advantage.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in any discipline; professional certifications in insurance or finance are a plus.
- Comfort working in a target-driven, on-site branch environment, with flexibility to travel across assigned bank branches as required.
