Job Title: Automation Engineer – Sales Executive
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Automation Engineer with a strong sales mindset to drive business growth by promoting and selling industrial automation solutions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, providing technical solutions, and supporting the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and develop new business opportunities in automation solutions and systems
· Engage with clients to understand technical requirements and propose suitable automation products/services
· Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals
· Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to customize solutions for clients
· Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals
· Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction
· Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
· Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering
· 1–5 years of experience in automation sales or technical sales (preferred)
· Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into business solutions
· Self-motivated with a target-driven approach
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in B2B sales in industrial automation or related fields
· Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
· Strong problem-solving and customer-handling skills
