Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in India. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing leads, and building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, contractors, and end customers. The role involves conducting product presentations and demonstrations, understanding customer requirements, and recommending appropriate Vensor solutions. The Sales Executive will negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines, prepare quotations, and follow up to close sales. Daily activities also include visiting client sites, maintaining an updated sales pipeline and reports, coordinating with internal teams for order processing and timely delivery, and gathering market intelligence on competitors, trends, and customer feedback.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in B2B/B2C sales, business development, and account management within electrical, electronics, building materials, or related industries.
- Strong abilities in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with confidence in explaining technical product features to non-technical stakeholders.
- Competence in customer relationship management, lead management, and basic CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Comfort with fieldwork, regular client visits, and travel within assigned territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Understanding of electrical products, wiring devices, or allied sectors is highly desirable; willingness to learn technical product details is essential.
- Ability to work independently toward targets while collaborating effectively with marketing, logistics, and operations teams.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset.
