We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the construction and civil engineering domain to drive corporate and government sales for our specialized IT software solutions. This role combines technical domain knowledge with strategic sales skills to identify opportunities, build relationships, and close deals with construction firms, infrastructure companies, and government departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain database of qualified leads through calls and outbound lead generation
- Cold calling & fix meetings with potential prospects
- Leverage existing relationships and industry knowledge to generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with product, tech, and pre-sales teams to customize solutions based on client requirements.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to recommend enhancements or new offerings.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update CRM regularly.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (MBA or PGDM in Marketing/Sales is a plus).
- Prior sales experience, experience in sales and/or construction industry shall be preferred
- Technical Experience (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Civil/ Architectural) will be an advantage
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera, MS Project, or ERP systems is a plus.
