We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Event Sales Executive to join our growing team. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing sales for a wide range of corporate events. You bring at least 2 years of hands-on experience in the events industry and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, prospect, and qualify new sales leads across corporate, social, and experiential event verticals.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key responsible stakeholders.
- Prepare and present tailored event proposals, quotations, and presentations that align with client briefs and budgets.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring commercial viability while meeting client expectations.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets; maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Collaborate closely with the event operations, marketing, and production teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in event sales or a closely related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of event types — corporate, social, MICE, and experiential
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required
Good to have
- Existing network of corporate clients or event planners
- Experience with B2B sponsorship sales or venue sales
- Familiarity with event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite, etc.)
- Multilingual proficiency — a plus for international event clients
- Experience with digital marketing or social media promotion of events
