Job Description
Position: Sales Executive – Solar Solutions ( Lunawada, Mahisagar, Gujarat)
Location: Lunawada, Mahisagar (Gujarat)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Management / Director
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive responsible for driving solar sales in the Lunawada (Mahisagar) region. The ideal candidate will focus on business generation, client acquisition, and conducting site visits to assess requirements and provide suitable solar solutions. This role is purely sales and field-based, involving active customer engagement and on-site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying and generating new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and direct client engagement
- Conducting regular site visits to evaluate project feasibility and understand customer requirements
- Gathering technical inputs from site and coordinating with technical/design team for accurate solutions
- Presenting customized solar solutions, proposals, and cost estimations to clients
- Achieving and exceeding assigned monthly and annual sales targets
- Managing the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships for repeat business and referrals
- Following up with clients for approvals, documentation, and conversion
- Coordinating with internal teams for smooth execution after sales closure
- Representing the company in local meetings, client visits, and networking activities to enhance brand presence
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline updates

- Monthly sales target achievement
- Annual sales target completion

- Site visit-to-conversion efficiency
Required Qualifications
- MBA (preferred) in Sales, Marketing, or related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering (preferred), or related discipline
- Experience Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, electrical, or infrastructure sectors
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
Required Skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems and technical concepts
- Ability to conduct site visits and interact confidently with clients
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and target-driven approach
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel frequently for field visits
Preferred Skills
- Experience in solar EPC or project sales
- Knowledge of net metering policies and government approvals
- Familiarity with Mahisagar and nearby market regions like Godhara,Dahod,Santrampur
- Ability to understand basic technical requirements during site visits
