Role Overview: Smartix is seeking energetic and customer-focused Sales Executives to represent our brand at Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore. This role involves engaging with a diverse range of customers, promoting products, and delivering an excellent retail experience in a fast-paced airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote Smartix products and build strong brand awareness among airport passengers
- Approach customers, explain product features, and demonstrate product usage effectively
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets
- Maintain product displays, ensure stock availability, and uphold brand presentation standards
- Provide excellent customer service and build long-term customer relationships
- Collect customer feedback and share insights with the sales and marketing teams
- Prepare and submit daily sales reports
- Ensure compliance with airport regulations, retail policies, and operational procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales counter at all times
- Coordinate with airport retail staff, supervisors, and internal teams for smooth operations
- Handle customer queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Support inventory management, stock replenishment, and product rotation
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards as per airport retail requirements
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales, retail, or customer-facing roles is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to confidently engage and influence customers
- Energetic, proactive, and customer-oriented mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic airport environment
- Flexibility to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including day and night schedules
- Must be eligible for airport security clearance and required passes
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and inventory updates
- Proficiency in Malayalam and English is preferred to facilitate effective communication with internal teams and customers.
- Multilingual ability is an added advantage
