Job Summary
The Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding is responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for freight forwarding services including Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Customs Clearance, Transportation, and Logistics Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the freight forwarding and logistics sector.
- Generate leads through cold calling, client visits, networking, and referrals.
- Promote Air Freight, Sea Freight, Customs Clearance, Warehousing, and Transportation services.
- Meet prospective customers, understand their logistics requirements, and provide suitable solutions.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and service agreements.
- Negotiate rates and commercial terms with customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer retention and business growth.
- Coordinate with Operations and Customer Service teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales reports to management.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
