Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Mumbai. The Sales Executive will manage the end-to-end sales process for international travel packages, including responding to inquiries, understanding customer preferences, and recommending suitable itineraries. Daily responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, conducting sales calls and in-person consultations, preparing quotations, and following up to close bookings. The role will also involve maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals, and collaborating with operations and ticketing teams to ensure smooth trip execution. The Sales Executive will monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and destination updates to provide up-to-date advice and maximize sales performance.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with experience in meeting or exceeding targets in a customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of international travel products, destinations, and itinerary planning, preferably with experience in the travel or tourism industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, understand client needs, and deliver clear, persuasive proposals.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple inquiries, follow-ups, and bookings simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic office and CRM tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, with flexibility to work peak travel periods, weekends, or extended hours when required.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or hospitality sales role is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional Indian or foreign languages is a plus.
