Role Description
This full-time hybrid role, based in Madurai with flexibility for some work-from-home days, is for a Sales Executive at Sama Travel. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting travel packages and services, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role will also entail achieving sales targets, coordinating with internal teams, preparing pricing proposals, and staying updated on market trends to bring value-added insights to clients.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and negotiation skills to drive revenue growth and achieve targets
- Relationship-building, client management, and customer service experience
- Knowledge of the travel industry, including air travel, hotel bookings, and travel insurance
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple accounts and tasks
- Proficiency in using travel management software and basic computer skills
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, based in Madurai with partial remote work
- Previous experience in travel sales or a related field is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related discipline is preferred
