Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based at Saaz Hotel Club and Convention Centre in Indore. The Sales Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate clients, event planners, travel agents, and social groups, to drive room bookings, events, and banquets. The role involves conducting client meetings and property visits, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating rates and contracts, and ensuring timely follow-up to close sales. The Sales Executive will maintain accurate records of leads, inquiries, and conversions, and collaborate with operations, front office, and banquet teams to ensure seamless guest experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities also include market research, participation in local networking activities, updating sales reports, and supporting promotional campaigns to meet revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality sales, preferably in rooms, banquets, or events.
- Strong client relationship-building skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and account management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with clear, professional verbal and written skills.
- Comfort with on-site client interactions, property show-rounds, and in-person networking in Indore.
- Good organizational skills, including managing multiple inquiries, deadlines, and follow-ups.
- Basic proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations); experience with hotel PMS or CRM is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintain a service-oriented approach.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to work toward and achieve sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in the Indore market or similar city-based hospitality environment is a plus.
