Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Executive based in Mumbai (Byculla). The Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities include managing the sales process, conducting client meetings, developing sales proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining accurate records of interactions with prospects and clients. The Sales Executive will also collaborate closely with internal teams to align strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research target accounts and identify decision-makers within assigned territory.
- Generate new leads through field visits, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Follow up diligently on existing leads to advance them through the pipeline.
Sales Closure
- Conduct in-person meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations.
- Understand client requirements and propose appropriate product solutions.
- Negotiate and close deals, maintaining healthy margins.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Educate customers on product benefits both financial and operational.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain and update the client database for the assigned territory.
- Prepare and submit daily sales activity reports to the team leader.
- Provide regular feedback on market trends, competitor activity, and client needs.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate from any discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience (B2B or industrial/tools sector preferred).
Skills & Attributes
- Strong communication skills: clear, confident, and persuasive.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with diverse clients.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and CRM/database tools.
