Sales Executive – CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) | India
The Sales Executive for CGM solutions is responsible for driving sales, expanding market penetration and building strong commercial relationships across the diabetes care ecosystem in India. This role involves promoting continuous glucose monitoring products to healthcare providers, pharmacies, clinics, hospitals and diabetic patients. The Sales Executive will play a key role in increasing awareness of CGM technology, educating customers on product benefits and delivering consistent revenue growth in the assigned territory. Strong product knowledge, customer engagement skills and an understanding of the healthcare market are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell CGM devices to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and direct consumers in the assigned region.
- Conduct regular field visits to endocrinologists, diabetologists, diabetes centers and healthcare professionals to drive product adoption.
- Educate clinicians, caregivers and patients on the functionality, accuracy and advantages of CGM systems.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training workshops and awareness sessions to support customer onboarding and usage.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets while contributing to overall regional business growth.
- Generate new leads, follow up on inquiries and maintain strong after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare partners and strategic stakeholders.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing movements and market trends in India’s diabetes management segment.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, customer interactions and submit timely reports to the Sales Manager.
- Support marketing initiatives, campaigns, medical events and community outreach programs to enhance brand visibility.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Business Administration, or related field (B.Pharm/B.Sc highly preferred).
- Min 2 years of experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, or diabetes-care sales.
- Strong understanding of CGM systems, diabetes management solutions and healthcare industry dynamics in India.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence healthcare professionals.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with doctors, clinics and patient communities.
- Target-driven, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
