Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Sales Executive role based in Chennai. The Clinical Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers while maintaining relationships with existing customers. Daily responsibilities include meeting with healthcare professionals, presenting medical device portfolios, conducting product demonstrations, providing clinical and technical support, and ensuring accurate product knowledge. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely order closure and follow-up. The Clinical Sales Executive will collaborate with internal teams for inventory, logistics, and after-sales coordination, monitor market trends and competitor activity, and provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in clinical sales or medical device sales, preferably in surgical equipment or healthcare solutions.
* Strong understanding of operating room protocols and the ability to provide clinical product support and demonstrations.
* Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
* Ability to train and support healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of medical devices.
* Basic knowledge of medical devices, anatomy, and clinical procedures, with a willingness to continuously learn.
* Proficiency with CRM tools, sales reporting, and standard office software.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related healthcare field is preferred.
* Prior experience in the healthcare or medical device industry in Chennai or surrounding regions is an advantage.
* Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
