Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Gurugram. The Sales Executive will identify and develop new business opportunities, promote the company’s travel services, and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and meeting potential corporate and individual clients, understanding their travel requirements, preparing and presenting customized proposals, and negotiating terms within company guidelines. The role involves maintaining regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, encourage repeat business, and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. The Sales Executive will also collaborate closely with operations and ticketing teams to ensure accurate service delivery, maintain updated records in the CRM system, and prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts. Participation in client meetings, industry events, and internal sales reviews is expected to support continuous growth and market presence.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Strong client relationship management abilities, with experience handling corporate and/or leisure travel accounts preferred.
- Good knowledge of travel products, corporate travel practices, and current market trends in the travel and tourism industry.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional Indian languages is an advantage.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and basic digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a travel agency, tour operator, or corporate travel sales role is highly desirable.
- Professional, inclusive, and customer-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively with diverse colleagues and clients.
