Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Sales Admission Counsellor to lead student recruitment and admissions efforts. The ideal candidate will guide prospective students through the admission process, provide accurate program information, and support enrollment targets through strategic counseling and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents on academic programs, admission requirements, and career outcomes
- Manage the complete admissions lifecycle from inquiry to enrollment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students, schools, and other stakeholders
- Lead follow-ups via calls, emails, and meetings to convert leads into enrollments
- Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions (in-person/virtual)
- Coordinate and participate in admission events, seminars, and outreach activities
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application status in CRM systems
- Analyze admission data and prepare regular reports on conversion rates and trends
- Mentor and support junior counsellors, ensuring high performance standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and program changes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s preferred)
- 6 months–2 years of experience in admissions, counseling, or sales (education sector preferred)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven track record of achieving enrollment or sales targets
- Ability to handle multiple applicants and deadlines efficiently
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
