Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Madurai for a Sales Executive. The Sales Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and achieve sales targets. The role involves presenting the value of Magizhchi Tech Academy’s services, understanding client requirements, and collaborating with team members to implement strategic sales plans. Additionally, the Sales Executive will be responsible for maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Academy's offerings and contributing to its overall growth.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and persuade clients
- Proven ability in lead generation, sales conversion, and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Skills in relationship-building, negotiation, and customer relationship management
- Basic knowledge of technology trends, educational tools, and market dynamics
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to work independently
- Experience in the education or technology industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, social media, and walk-ins
- Follow up with leads regularly and maintain strong communication
- Convert leads into admissions and achieve monthly targets
- Explain courses, fees structure, placements, and career opportunities to students and parents
- Maintain enquiry and admission records properly
- Coordinate with management and trainers regarding student onboarding
- Conduct counselling sessions and guide students in choosing suitable courses
- Generate new leads through marketing activities, references, and partnerships
- Support registration and admission process from enquiry to enrollment
- Maintain professional relationships with students and parents
- Prepare daily and weekly sales reports
Required Skills
- Strong communication and convincing skills
- Experience in education sales / academy counselling preferred
- Knowledge in lead generation and follow-up process
- Target-oriented mindset
- Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer and CRM/Excel knowledge
