ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, execute, and review a progressive business development plan to achieve monthly sales targets
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders by understanding and responding to their needs
- Identify and convert new customer opportunities through referrals, competitive events, and alternative marketing platforms
- Strengthen relationships with existing clients and establish relationships through regular contact, conducting face-to-face visits/presentations and phone conversations
- Maintain and grow existing clients through optimised quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate internally with the marketing team to assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the medical conferences and exhibitions
- Prior industry experience within B2B sales and negotiation will be advantageous
- Flexible and professional approach to all clients/customers
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent telephone and message-taking etiquette
- Availability to extra hours and weekends as per project requirements
- Driven, hardworking, with the ability to manage your own diary to maximize results
- Well-developed communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
- Able to work individually and as part of a team
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers
- Excellent command of written & spoken English
- Great team player
- Willingness to travel
