Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in India. The Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with retail partners, distributors, and corporate clients, and expanding Hikari’s market presence. Daily activities include prospecting and cold outreach, conducting sales presentations and product demos, negotiating terms, and managing the end-to-end sales cycle. The role also involves monitoring sales performance, preparing regular reports, gathering market insights, and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to support promotional activities, product launches, and inventory planning. The Sales Executive will represent Hikari’s brand values, ensure high standards of customer service, and contribute to long-term sales strategies and channel development.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
- Customer relationship management skills, with experience in account management, client servicing, and retention strategies.
- Knowledge of retail, FMCG, or beverage industry sales practices; experience with wellness, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and prepare clear, actionable reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain product benefits and brand story to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including territory planning and prioritization of sales activities.
- Comfort working on-site, traveling for client meetings and store visits within India as required.
- Proficiency with basic office and CRM tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, sales tracking software).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
