Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-focused Sales Executive for a full-time, on-site role based in our Kochi office. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, preparing sales proposals, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction. Collaboration with the procurement and logistics teams will also be essential to ensure seamless delivery of quality products to clients.
Requirements
- Strong sales, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
- Proficiency in market research, lead generation, and business development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and achieve deadlines
- Knowledge of the global supply chain and sourcing processes is an advantage
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency in tools such as CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in international sales or global sourcing is highly preferred
- Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Key responsibilities
- Generate B2B leads through LinkedIn, Google, trade directories, and outreach
- Make cold calls and introduce company services
- Understand client sourcing/import requirements
- Schedule meetings with qualified prospects
- Maintain consistent follow-ups
- Build and manage lead database
- Coordinate with management during deal discussions
- Update daily activity reports and CRM/Excel tracking
Preferred
- Experience in telecalling, B2B sales, logistics, import-export, or industrial sales
- English/Hindi/Malayalam speaking is an advantage
Performance Expectations
- 50+ calls per day
- 30–50 new leads generated daily
- 3–5 qualified meetings per week
- Consistent follow-up tracking
