Role Description The Sales Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating and managing leads, building and maintaining relationships with dealers, distributors, architects, contractors, and end customers, and promoting DURO’s range of plywood, block boards, doors, and veneers. Daily activities include conducting sales visits, demonstrating product features and benefits, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating pricing and terms within company guidelines, and closing sales to meet revenue and volume targets. The role also involves tracking market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, coordinating with internal teams for order processing, delivery, and after-sales support, and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and performance reports. The Sales Executive is expected to represent the brand professionally, support promotional campaigns and events, and contribute to building long-term customer loyalty.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills in building materials, interiors, or related industries, with experience in dealer and project-based selling.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with confidence in interacting with architects, contractors, and corporate clients.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze sales data, and prepare clear reports to support decision-making and sales planning.
- Solid relationship management and customer service skills, with a focus on maintaining long-term partnerships and high customer satisfaction.
- Comfort with using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software to manage pipelines, forecasts, and documentation.
- Knowledge of plywood and wood products, or willingness to learn technical product details and industry standards such as E1 norms and IS standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in sales or marketing are an advantage.
- Self-driven and organized, able to meet targets, manage territory-based activities, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional language
